Manufacturer

Manufacturer Summary​

The Manufacturer Summary screen displays all manufacturer records configured in the system. Navigate to it via Home > Vendor > Manufacturer.

The summary grid shows the following columns:

Manufacturer CodeAuto-generated unique code for the manufacturer (e.g. "MFR00004")
Manufacturer NameThe name of the manufacturer
DescriptionOptional description for the manufacturer
Change StatusGreen = Active · Red = Inactive. Click the icon to toggle status.
ActionView (👁), Edit (✏), and Delete (🗑) icons

Use the Clear Filter button to reset any applied column filters.

Add a Manufacturer​

  1. Click the + Add button on the top right of the Manufacturer Summary screen.

  2. The Add Manufacturer screen opens.

    Note

    Mandatory fields are indicated by the * next to the name

    Fill in the following fields:

    • Manufacturer Code — Auto-generated. This field cannot be edited.
    • Manufacturer Name* — Free text. Enter the name of the manufacturer.
    • Description — Free text (optional). Enter a note about the manufacturer.

  3. Click Save to create the record, or Cancel to discard.
