Search for a Recipe Using Advanced Search

Another way to search for a recipe is to use the advanced search function.

Also, there is an advanced search accessed by clicking on the "Search" button on the right top of the screen (the one next to "Clear Filter" option). This option allows the user to refine a search based on concept, entrée type, allergens in the product/recipe, etc.

Search for a recipe using the following criteria:

  • Cuisines -- Click the drop down arrow to choose one of the many cuisines (e.g. American, Italian, Vegan, etc)

  • Meal Type -- Beverage, Lunch Entrée, Side, etc)

  • Sub Group --

  • Component --

  • Food Bar --

  • Concept --

  • Entrée Type --

Recipe Contains:

  • Allergen -- Click the drop down arrow to choose an allergen that a recipe would contain (e.g peanut, shellfish, wheat, etc)

  • Location Types -- Click the drop down arrow to choose the location type (elementary school, middle school, high school, pre-school, others)

  • Sub Recipes -- Click the drop down arrow to choose the sub recipe that would be included (Chicken gravy, mexi turkey, etc)

  • Sub Recipe Codes -- Click the drop down arrow to choose the sub recipe code

  • Dietary -- Click the drop down arrow to choose the dietary restriction (low cholesterol, low fat, low sodium, etc)

  • Products -- Click the drop down arrow to choose the products that the recipe would include (e.g. hummus, ham turkey GF, etc)

  • Product Codes -- Click the drop down arrow to choose the product codes that the recipe would include

After choosing the appropriate attributes/criteria click Search.

To clear the filter, click Clear Filter.

To Hide Search to view options, click Hide Search.

The results will display and then can be searched further using the filterable and clickable columns (if applicable).

After viewing the list of results, to view the specific recipe, click the "eye" icon.

There are different tabs with information for the specific recipe:

Primary

  • Image -- picture of finished recipe

  • Recipe Name

  • Recipe Code

  • Status

  • Level of Difficulty

  • HACCP Process

  • UPC Code

  • Stars for Rating

  • Preparation -- Time needed for preparation

  • Cook -- Time needed for cooking

Recipe Kit

  • Loss type

  • Line of Business -- applicable type of locations

  • Main Recipe

  • Variants

Attributes

  • Active Attributes

  • Sub Group

  • Entrée Type

  • Main Components

Nutrition

  • Recipe Portion Details

  • Batch Size

  • Unit

  • Line of Business

  • Calculate Market Data

  • Main Recipe and Variants

Prep Notes

  • Drag the component to highlighted empty table cells and drop to add them to a step. Click Build Out

Alternate Names

  • Identifies any alternate names
